My thought is that she figured the extra year and a half of frivolous ethics suits under the midnight sun would just be wasted time, wasted money, and wasted reputation. So now she is free to hit the road campaigning for fellow Republicans, appearing in front of friendly crowds and ensuring that she is on the nightly news...at least local newscasts. The national media will continue with what it is they do.
