From Cool Tee Shirts comes the Ditto Machine T-shirt
Featuring a classic ditto machine, this is the Cool Tee Shirts Ditto t-shirt. This tee is inspired by the immortal line by Patrick Swayze in that Ghost movie. I've always found it interesting that a ditto machine is a "spirit duplicator" and that Patrick Swayze was a ghost. Get it? Spirit? Ghost? Maybe it's just interesting to me.
The spirit duplicator was invented in 1923 by Wilhelm Ritzerfeld. The best-known manufacturer in the US and the world was Ditto Corporation of Illinois, while copiers available in the UK were commonly manufactured by the Block & Anderson company, under their "Banda" brand. In both cases the trademark became a generic name for both the copiers and the process in their respective markets.
